IC3 Fall Retreat in NYC

IC3 faculty, students and industry members gather twice per year to discuss the major technical challenges and innovative solutions to widespread blockchain adoption.

The events were conducted in Cornell Tech’s new campus on Roosevelt Island, just recently opening its doors in August 2017.

Oct 6 was open to the public, part of a series of inaugural Cornell Tech events to educate the public.

Oct 5 was for IC3 members only. Note: IC3 offers two levels of membership: Sponsor Member fees are $450k per year. Regular members fees are $150k per year.

Dan Middleton, Intel, shares perspectives on new directions and opportunities in academic research for cryprocurrencies and contracts, during the Industry partner section. After Dan, we heard from Hadley Stern (Fidelity), Shaul Kfir (Digital Asset) Nik Gupta (IBM), Patrick Nielsen (JP Morgan), Michael DiPetrillo (VMware), and Shaz Qadeer (Microsoft).
